JUBILATION RINGERS
Playing in the St John Lutheran Jubilation ringers is fun and sounds beautiful. This group has a schedule of weekly Monday night practices at 6PM and they annually attend workshops. They perform on special occasions such Christmas eve and other church year events. This group has an annual goal to live the St John mission by doing community outreach. This group has enjoyed previous outreach projects where they have had is sponsoring families for the holidays with meals and gifts, performing at rest homes, children’s homes and in people’s homes.
Ringing handbells is for music lovers of all age groups over confirmation age. Our group can teach you how to ring handbells and musical background or reading music is not a requirement. You do not need to be a church member to participate. The ringing season (September thru April), practices are conducted on Monday evenings at 6PM with performances at Sunday services on a monthly basis. We would love to have you join us in this fun activity; ringers can rotate in and out based on months that your schedule would allow you to attend practices before a performance.
If you are not currently a member and interested in participating or learning more information contact Tina Elwood Gehrke at church or by sending her a message elwoodgehrke@gmail.com.
